Our traditional Lasagne recipe is a European foundation meal and has been perfected for centuries. Believed to be first cooked in the middle ages, this dish incorporates a rich red wine, herb, and tomato beef Bolognese sauce with carrot, peas, and bacon. After slow cooking together to enhance the flavours, it is then immersed and layered with al dente-cooked lasagne sheets and finished with a silky béchamel sauce and cheese topping which is cooked to get a perfectly golden brown crust. Then garnished with shaved parmesan cheese and fresh Italian herbs. This dish is a ‘must’.
